Women's Care Clinic Receives Donated Building to Expand Services for Women and Families
DANVILLE, IL — Women's Care Clinic is pleased to announce the donation of a building at 601 N. Logan Avenue, which will become a future satellite location for the ministry as it expands services to women and families throughout Vermilion County and the surrounding area.
The donation comes at a time of significant growth for the organization. In 2025 alone, Women's Care Clinic has provided 494 pregnancy tests, 152 sexually transmitted disease tests, and 482 ultrasounds, while 45 women are currently enrolled in its motherhood support program.
The building is located directly across the street from the abortion facility on Logan Avenue, which currently performs both chemical and surgical abortions. Women's Care Clinic believes the location will allow women facing unexpected pregnancies easier access to information, medical services, practical resources, and ongoing support.
"We are incredibly grateful for this generous gift and the opportunity it provides to serve more women and families," said Heather McArty, CEO-Executive Director of Women's Care Clinic. "This location will help us expand access to care, education, and support for those who need it most."
Over the coming months, the organization plans to renovate the building to create a welcoming space to provide free medical services. The project will rely on community partnerships, volunteers, and financial support to prepare the facility for use.
"This building is more than a structure," McArty said. "It is an opportunity for our community to come together and ensure women have access to compassionate care, accurate information, and the resources they need to make informed decisions."
Women's Care Clinic invites churches, businesses, civic organizations, and individuals to partner in the renovation effort through prayer, volunteer service, in-kind donations, and financial contributions.
Community members interested in learning more about the project or supporting the campaign can contact Women's Care Clinic at 217-431-0987 or visit www.danvillewcc.org.
