Join the Danville Barbershop Chorus as they celebrate “The Music of America” on Saturday, May 2, 2026. The concert will begin at 3:00 pm in Danville’s historic Fischer Theatre.

“From Yankee Doodle to doo-wop, vaudeville to disco, this concert will highlight the various American music styles over the past 250 years,” said chorus director Tom Fricke.  

Special guests on the concert will be the Danville chapter of Sweet Adelines. “They will sing some songs, and both choruses will sing a number of selections together,” Fricke added.

Tickets for the concert range from $15 - $30 and can be reserved online by going to www.fischertheatre.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the box office the day of the concert starting one hour in advance.
